Call for Darras Hall recycling aid

Posted by The Journal on Dec 17, 08 09:20 AM in Councils

Local councillor Peter Charleton is calling for residents in Ponteland to be given more help in recycling their green waste.

He is calling on Castle Morpeth Council to consider providing disposable bags for the waste in the Darras Hall shopping precinct or local estates office.

The bags are currently only available from Ponteland Town Council office, which he says is not accessible enough for many elderly people in Darras Hall.
